Accion Labs is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a product engineering team supporting enterprise-grade web platforms. This role involves owning features end-to-end, from requirements analysis and design to development, testing, deployment, and production support.
We are seeking engineers who actively leverage AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Build and maintain front-end and back-end components.
- Utilize AI coding assistants and agentic development tools in daily work.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for quality, performance, and security.
- Write automated tests and ensure reliable production deployments.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on-call activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong full-stack engineering background.
- Hands-on experience with React, PHP, or Perl (React preferred).
- Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar.
- Strong testing mindset and experience with automated testing.
- Ability to work effectively within large existing codebases.
- Experience supporting production applications and resolving incidents.
- Excellent communication skills in a remote, distributed environment.
Nice to Have
- Strong React expertise.
- PHP and/or Perl development experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms, managed hosting, or high-availability environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with AI-driven development workflows and automated code review tools.
