Senior PHP / Node.js

At Cyclad, we work with top international IT companies to help them deliver cutting-edge technologies and innovative digital solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior PHP / Node.js Developer to join a team responsible for migrating a microservices-based application from Azure to IBM Cloud.

The project focuses on cloud migration and application adaptation, ensuring that existing services meet the new cloud environment's architectural, security, and governance requirements. You will work with PHP, Symfony, TypeScript, and Node.js, collaborating with DevOps specialists and international teams to migrate, adapt, and validate applications as part of a cloud transformation initiative.

• Work model: Hybrid (50% on-site and 50% remote, calculated monthly)
• Budget: 85–110 PLN net/hour – B2B
• Project length: Up to 5 months

• Languages: Fluent Polish and English

Your responsibilities:

• Migrate applications and microservices from Azure to IBM Cloud
• Adapt applications to meet the target cloud architecture, security, and governance requirements
• Replace or integrate cloud components, including key vaults, databases, and event queues
• Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting where required
• Validate application functionality, stability, and performance after migration
• Collaborate with DevOps specialists and international IT teams across Poland, the Netherlands, and France
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, application requirements, and governance policies
• Take ownership of application components and drive migration activities toward successful completion

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional PHP development experience
• Strong expertise in Symfony
• Proven experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience deploying and running applications in cloud environments
• Practical experience with data migration, data transformation, and scripting
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Fluent Polish and English, both written and spoken
• Result-driven mindset, with the ability to take ownership of an application

Nice to have:

• Experience with IBM Cloud
• Previous experience migrating applications from Azure to another cloud platform
• Familiarity with cloud security requirements and enterprise governance standards
• Experience collaborating with DevOps teams on cloud migration projects
