Overview

We are seeking an experienced Google Workspace Architect / Senior Consultant to support enterprise-level digital workplace initiatives within a secure Finnish environment. The successful consultant will provide strategic architecture, advisory, and implementation expertise across Google Workspace, ChromeOS, security, privacy, and hybrid Microsoft-Google ecosystems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior consultant with strong enterprise architecture and cloud collaboration experience to work on high-profile transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide architectural leadership and consulting expertise across Google Workspace and ChromeOS environments.
Design and advise on secure, scalable, and compliant Google service architectures.
Support customers in the adoption and optimisation of Google Workspace services.
Develop technical and functional documentation in Finnish and/or English.
Advise on security, privacy, governance, and compliance requirements related to Google technologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders across enterprise architecture, infrastructure, digital workplace, and security teams.
Contribute to hybrid Microsoft and Google ecosystem strategies and integrations.

Mandatory Requirements

Senior Consulting & Architecture Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience working as a:
Senior Consultant
Solution Architect
Enterprise Architect
Senior Technical Specialist
Experience gained within technology projects or transformation programmes.

Google Workspace Expertise

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working with:
Google Workspace
ChromeOS
Chromebooks
Related Google productivity and collaboration technologies
Experience must have been delivered within customer environments.

Documentation Skills

Ability to produce professional technical documentation in Finnish or English.
Comfortable working with vendor documentation and materials in both languages.

Security & Privacy Architecture

Proven experience providing consulting and/or architecture services relating to:
Google Workspace Security
Privacy Requirements
Governance and Compliance
Security Architecture

Communication Skills

Fluent verbal and written communication in Finnish or English.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Consulting & Architecture Experience

More than 5 years of consulting and architecture experience.
Additional years of experience will strengthen the application.

Advanced Google Workspace Experience

Extensive experience beyond the minimum 1-year requirement.
Proven delivery within enterprise-scale customer environments.

Hybrid Microsoft & Google Environments

Experience operating in organisations where:
Microsoft technologies and services
Google Workspace technologies
Are used in parallel within the same environment.

Enterprise Architecture Expertise

One of the following:

TOGAF 9.2 Foundation Certification
TOGAF 10 Foundation Certification
Demonstrated enterprise architecture methodology experience equivalent to at least 200 consulting days within the last two years.

Google Professional Certifications

Current Google Professional-level certifications are highly desirable, including:

Google Professional Cloud Architect
Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
Google Professional Cloud Developer
Google Professional Data Engineer
Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer
Other Google Professional certifications

Essential Candidate Profile

The ideal consultant will have:

Strong enterprise consulting and stakeholder management skills.
Deep understanding of Google Workspace architecture and governance.
Experience working within secure or regulated environments.
Knowledge of cloud security, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
Enterprise architecture expertise and strategic thinking capability.
The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
