Senior Platform Engineer / SRE

The Role We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and help our clients on specific projects like a migration to the cloud, supporting a team of Software Craftspeople and setting up CI/CD pipelines or others! This role would suit someone who has: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a consultancy environment Fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken Experience building out scalable and automated cloud platforms, preferably with AWS (EKS, IAM, VPC, networking, Route53, ALB/NLB, RDS, S3,..) Experience with provisioning and supporting cloud infrastructure, using infrastructure as code and building CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Terraform , ARM (Azure Resource Manager) or Cloudformation (AWS) Experience with containerisation technology and various orchestration platforms, designing and maintaining them, ideally Kubernetes Worked with external partners on requirements and designs that scale and are delivered on time Knowledge of logging and monitoring Experience in service design and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic..) to effectively troubleshoot and optimize software systems Strong commitment to doing things in a sustainable and secure way Proven ability to take technical ownership , collaborate across multiple engineering teams and drive platform initiatives during complex modernization or cloud migration programmes. It would be a bonus if you have: Experience in provisioning tools such as Ansible/ Puppet/ Chef Basic programming language knowledge in order to provide tooling (Python, Bash, PowerShell etc) Run performance and load tests at scale, and are able to forecast capacity for the future What's in it for you? The gross annual salary range for this role is 55,000€ to 72,000 €, and covers two seniority levels based on our internal bandings.
