Do you know what makes a game look, feel, and play amazing? Can you quickly understand a game's visual language and turn it into an interactive experience that feels instantly familiar, polished, and fun? Do you enjoy both creating great work yourself and helping other artists reach a high creative bar?
Then you might be just the person we're looking for!
At Seepia, we create playable ads and interactive experiences that people love to play. With beautifully designed, technologically innovative products and a flexible, employee-driven culture, we've earned a reputation as one of the premier providers of playable experiences. Our team has completed hundreds of projects for industry names like Small Giant, Rovio, Fingersoft, Metacore, Crazy Labs and Poki.
At Seepia, you'll find
🤝 A culture of trust and autonomy
🌍 A remote-first, globally distributed team
🚀 Room to grow and make meaningful decisions
💡 A company in transformation where your ideas shape what comes next
We are now looking for a Senior Playable Artist to join our growing Playables team. This is a senior, hands-on creative production role with a varied mix of hands-on creative work, art direction, and production development. You'll work directly on playable ads while also helping us scale our production through external artists and production partners.
You'll be responsible for turning game brands and creative concepts into polished interactive experiences, setting clear visual direction for others, and ensuring externally produced work meets Seepia's creative quality standards.
You won't just review work from the sidelines. You'll be expected to understand how the work is made, give practical and actionable direction, and jump into production or polish when your expertise is needed.
What you'll do
- Art direct playable ad projects from brief and concept mockups through production and final delivery
- Turn client games and creative concepts into beautiful, intuitive, and engaging interactive experiences
- Work hands-on with layouts, UX/UI, game assets, animation, VFX, and visual polish
- Create clear briefs and visual direction for external artists and production partners
- Review externally produced work and give clear, actionable creative feedback
- Own creative quality checks and ensure work meets Seepia's standards before delivery
- Step in for targeted hands-on polish when a project needs senior-level finishing
- Help external artists understand our quality bar and improve through consistent feedback
- Collaborate closely with Creative Producers and Developers to solve creative and production challenges
- Actively use and explore AI-assisted creative tools to make production smarter and more efficient
- Identify recurring production challenges and help improve our workflows, standards, templates, and tools
- Share your expertise and raise the creative bar across our internal and external production teams
What we're looking for
- Strong professional experience in interactive advertising, digital production, game art or a similar fast-moving creative environment. Agency experience seen as a plus.
- Comfortable working with both 2D and 3D.
- The ability to independently take a project from creative brief to polished final execution
- Strong art direction skills and the ability to explain why something works or doesn't
- Experience reviewing other artists' work and turning creative observations into clear, actionable feedback
- Excellent Photoshop skills across image editing, compositing, layout, and AI-assisted digital art
- Strong visual judgement across composition, hierarchy, colour, UI, animation, and polish
- Stylistic flexibility, you're comfortable moving between different game brands and visual styles
- An understanding of UX/UI and how visual decisions affect interaction and player experience
- The ability to work efficiently across multiple short, client-focused projects
- Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving skills
- Clear written and spoken English
- An outstanding portfolio showcasing game screens, UX/UI, interactive experiences, animation, VFX, and/or other relevant production work
Nice to have
- Experience art directing freelancers, subcontractors, or external production teams
- Experience working in an agency, outsourcing studio, or other client-service environment
- Experience with playable ads or interactive advertising
- Animation or VFX experience using tools such as After Effects or Spine
- Asset integration experience in tools such as Unity or Godot
- Visual design and graphic design expertise
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted creative tools for concepting, asset creation, or production
- Experience improving creative production pipelines, templates, or workflows
- Understanding of the technical constraints involved in producing lightweight interactive experiences
If you think you could be a great match for the position, we are looking forward to your application!
Don't hesitate to reach out, even if you think you might not meet all our criteria. We're always on the lookout for exceptional talent, and we'd love to hear from you.
