Le'Fant is seeking an experienced Senior Policy Analyst to support a federal mission focused on healthcare, benefits, and support programs for service members. The Senior Policy Analyst will provide policy analysis, quality assurance, reporting, and program support while serving as the backup to the Program Manager. What You'll Do: Conduct policy analysis and research related to policies, regulations, guidance, and legislative requirements; provide recommendations for updates and improvements. Support strategic policy planning and implementation to ensure program activities align with applicable DoD policies, federal regulations, and organizational priorities. Monitor program activities and support quality assurance efforts, including maintaining QA processes, identifying issues, and developing recommendations for improvement. Analyze program data and prepare standardized and ad hoc reports, spreadsheets, and other analytical products to support program oversight and policy decision-making. Coordinate and track reporting requirements to ensure accurate and timely completion of required reports, deliverables, and documentation. Maintain program records, databases, rosters, and knowledge repositories in accordance with applicable records management requirements. Coordinate with internal and external organizations and federal agencies to support program activities, information sharing, and implementation of policy and program requirements. Support meeting planning and coordination, including agendas, materials, action items, schedules, and suspense tracking. Serve as the backup to the Program Manager, providing continuity of program operations and supporting program management activities as needed. Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen. All work must be performed within the United States. Must be able to successfully complete a DoD background security investigation. Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in a related field such as public policy, political science, public administration, or business administration. Active PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Minimum Requirements 5+ years of experience supervising or overseeing large groups of personnel. Experience with policy planning, technical and legislative support, and quality assurance. Experience using databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools, with the ability to perform data and statistical analysis. Experience with records management and maintaining program documentation. Experience implementing DoD and Department of Veterans Affairs policies and federal regulations and maintaining compliance preferred. Knowledge of DoD disability evaluation programs and applicable regulations preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Pay Transparency There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. Annual salary is just one component of Le'fant's total compensation package. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
