🔎 We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer

Main Tasks

• Develop, publish and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Query and extract data directly from Data Warehouses using SQL.
• Design and optimize data models to ensure performance and data accuracy.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Handle ad-hoc data requests and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Apply Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, customers and internal teams to deliver BI solutions.
• Ensure data visualization best practices and effective data storytelling.

Main Skills & Requirements

• Power BI: Strong experience in dashboard development, Power BI Service, Power Query and report management.
• SQL: Proficiency in complex queries, data extraction, transformation and query performance optimization.
• DAX: Experience creating and optimizing measures and calculated columns; familiarity with DAX Studio.
• Data Modeling: Knowledge of dimensional modeling, normalization, denormalization and Tabular Editor.
• Data Warehousing & ETL: Understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and ETL processes.
• Data Visualization: Ability to create interactive, user-friendly dashboards and communicate insights effectively.
• Business Analysis: Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders and teams.
• Languages: English B2+ and Portuguese C1+

Nice to Have

• Version control experience with Git and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics, data transformation and visualization.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.

📍 Hybrid position based in Porto
