Senior Practice Engineer – Water/Wastewater (Hybrid) ms consultants, inc. This position is a hybrid role and can be based out of one of our Ohio offices in either Columbus, Youngstown, Cleveland or Akron, Ohio. As a senior member of our water business unit, you will lead and contribute to impactful projects that design, enhance, and sustain water and wastewater infrastructure for diverse public and private clients. As a Senior Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and design expertise on multidisciplinary water/wastewater projects. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners across a broad range of project types, supporting quality delivery and client satisfaction. Your role will also include project leadership, quality control, technical review, task management, and support in proposal development, depending on your experience and interests. What You'll Do: Water Treatment & Distribution Wastewater Treatment & Collection Water Supply Storage Facilities (Upground Reservoir) Pump Stations Hydraulic Modeling (Sanitary & Stormwater) What You'll Bring: Strong self-motivation and commitment to continuous professional growth Proven accountability and high technical standards Ability to lead and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to mentor junior staff and support technical development within the team Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field Professional Engineering (PE) License Technical Qualifications: Extensive water/wastewater design experience Experience with process modeling or hydraulic modeling software preferred Prior experience with task or project management is a plus Why Choose ms consultants?
