About the role
We're looking for a Senior Product Analyst to become the independent analytical voice of our Matching & Relationships team. You'll work across several closely connected product areas - spanning matchmaking, messaging and AI-assisted user experiences - and help us answer the questions that matter: are we moving in the right direction, and where do we invest the least effort for the greatest impact?
This isn't a role about building pretty dashboards. It's about designing rigorous experiments, challenging assumptions with data, and turning numbers into decisions. If you believe in the craft of real analytics - not just prompting an AI for a chart - and you like being the person who keeps the team honest with the data, you'll feel at home here. You'll partner directly with the product managers behind each area and report to the Head of Product, who cares deeply about analytics and will be a highly engaged collaborator.
What you'll do
- Design and run product experiments end to end - form hypotheses, define test duration and required sample size, assess whether the expected result is achievable, evaluate A/B tests and determine statistical significance.
- Unify metrics across our product areas into one coherent picture, cascading them from our core company metric (MAP) down to the drivers of acquisition, retention, reactivation and churn.
- Be the independent analytical check on whether the team is moving in the right direction - grounding decisions in data rather than intuition.
- Find the highest-leverage growth opportunities - where the smallest effort delivers the biggest effect on key metrics.
- Track whether we're winning in the numbers - connect metrics to goals, estimates and costs, and flag early when we drift off course.
- Generate, prioritize and validate hypotheses ("what would happen if…?") together with product managers.
- Investigate anomalies and metric deviations, get to the root cause, and raise the alarm on product issues before they grow.
- Calibrate our work against corporate goals and challenge the flood of initiatives with a clear, numbers-based point of view.
- Improve our analytical processes where you see room - we're an open team and we act on good ideas.
What we're looking for
Must-have:
- 4+ years in product analytics, ideally at a product with large data volumes.
- A degree in mathematics, engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong command of mathematical statistics and probability theory, applied in practice.
- Proven, hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests — including sizing, significance and interpretation.
- Fluency in SQL and Python; comfortable with data extraction, processing and visualization (Superset a plus).
- Deep understanding of product and marketing metrics — LTV, CPA, Retention, CR — and how they connect to the business.
- Product thinking — you see the user behavior behind every metric.
- High autonomy and ownership — you find the growth points yourself and see them through to impact.
- Critical thinking — you question the data and the decisions around it, and cross-check your conclusions.
- Clear communication — you back arguments with numbers, explain the complex simply, and structure findings around a clear recommendation and estimated impact.
Nice to have:
- Experience with products where data and causal inference are central - social products, dating, gaming, or two-sided marketplaces (B2B + B2C).
- Hands-on experience with recommender systems.
- Background at a data-rich, high-volume product.
- REMOTE OPPORTUNITY to work full-time.
- Vacation 28 calendar days per year.
- 7 wellness days per year (time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave.
- Bonuses up to $5000 for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company.
- 50% payment for professional training, international conferences, and meetings.
- Corporate discount for English lessons.
- Health benefits. According to the paychecks, if you are not eligible for corporate medical insurance, the company will compensate you with up to $ 1,000 gross per year per employee. This can be spent on self-purchase of health insurance or on doctor’s fees for yourself and close relatives (spouse, children).
- Workplace organization. The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years.
- Internal gamified gratitude system: receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for our merchandise, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.
