Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)

NeonNow | Hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 remote) | Sydney-based

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to own design across our platform. NeonNow is an AI customer engagement platform built from four products: CX for voice and messaging in the contact centre, Outreach for SMS and email campaigns, Agentic for building AI agents without code, and IQ, the AI that runs underneath all of them. Sales, service and collections teams use them for most of the working day. We have never had a designer. Our Head of Product Development has done it so far, and there is a design system, a shared UI kit and Figma libraries to show for it. This is the role that takes it on properly.

What you’ll do:

• Design features across all four products, from the first conversation about a problem to the version that ships
• Grow the design system: more patterns, better documentation, answers for the harder screens
• Improve how our busiest screens work, the ones where a single interaction carries attributes, attached data, history and settings
• Set up how design and engineering work together, including handover and a design check before release
• Prototype, pair with engineers, and hold the line on quality
• Use AI in your work where it actually helps
• Shape our agentic experiences as more of the product moves that way: how people build, configure and supervise AI agents, and how an agent shows its work back to them

What you’ll bring:

• Around 5+ years designing B2B software, ideally in a small product team
• Strength across the whole process, from early discovery to the final detail
• Experience growing a design system rather than only using one
• Confidence with dense, data-heavy interfaces
• AI tools already in your day to day, including prototyping in code
• Good judgement about what is worth doing now and what can wait

Nice to have:

• Experience designing AI agent interfaces: conversational UI, prompt and instruction building, agent configuration, or showing a user what an agent did and why
• Work on contact centres, telco, unified comms or CX platforms
• Comfort writing or reading front-end code (HTML/CSS/React) to prototype and pair with engineers
• Experience standing up a design system from scratch

Salary

$140 - $150K plus ESOP options.
