About Molaris

Molaris is building the Intelligent Operating System for the Dental Industry. Our mission: building the infrastructure for scalable, AI-driven dental operations, where every dental operation runs on AI. We were founded by people who spent years inside dental labs, navigating broken workflows and software that tracked work without understanding it. Our two products work as one system: ClearPath, the workflow and case management platform an entire operation runs on, and Orovia, the 3D software that powers our AI suite reading the clinical work moving through it. We're AI-native, not AI-bolted-on: every case processed makes the system sharper, and every feature is exercised in working labs, on real cases, against real deadlines. We're a small, fully remote team solving hard problems in 3D geometry, machine learning, and production software.

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience of our products. Starting with ClearPath, you will turn complex, data-dense lab operations (case intake, production tracking, scheduling, quality control, and lab-to-dentist communication) into experiences that feel effortless for busy technicians and lab managers. You will run the full arc: research with real lab and clinical users, flows and prototypes, and pixel-level UI shipped with engineering through fast-paced releases, backed by a design system you build and own. Much of the work is making AI people trust, deciding how model output, confidence and exceptions surface so users know when to act and when to verify. You will set the design standard for the company, not inherit one.

What you'll do

  • Own UX and UI across our product suite
  • Run lightweight research: shadow lab technicians, interview lab managers and dentists, and turn findings into clear problem statements.
  • Design complex, data-dense workflows: case intake, production tracking, scheduling, quality control, and lab-to-dentist communication.
  • Design AI-driven experiences people trust: surfacing model output, confidence and exceptions so users know when to act and when to verify.
  • Build and maintain the Molaris design system in Figma, with components that map cleanly to our front-end code.
  • Partner with engineering inside 2-week sprints: write specs, review builds, and own UI quality through release.
  • Use usage data and customer feedback to measure what you ship and iterate.
  • Raise the bar on accessibility, usability and visual consistency across web and tablet.

What you bring

  • 6+ years in product design, with at least 3 years on B2B SaaS shipped to real users.
  • A portfolio showing end-to-end work on complex workflows: the problem, your process, the trade-offs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong interaction design and visual craft: information hierarchy, tables, dashboards, forms, and states (empty, error, loading).
  • Expert Figma skills: auto layout, variables, component libraries, and interactive prototypes.
  • Working knowledge of how front-end products are built (React, design tokens, responsive layout), enough to make feasible decisions with engineers.
  • Comfort doing your own research and making calls with incomplete information.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English; you can defend a design to a founder, an engineer and a customer.
  • Self-directed in a remote, early-stage team where you will often be the only designer in the room.

What we offer

  • Competitive startup salary ($110k-$130k).
  • Fully flexible remote work within Canada.
  • Ownership of the product design line.
  • A modern stack and a team working at the intersection of dentistry and applied AI.
