Senior Product Engineer

About the Role

Build full-stack software that supports a venture capital and startup organization's admissions, events, and internal operations. You will work directly with engineering, operations, and business teams, owning product decisions and delivery from problem discovery through launch.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and ship applications for admissions workflows, events, and internal tools.

• Develop event features for registration, coordination, and media handling.

• Integrate external services and APIs, including calendar, messaging, email, and data systems.

• Build AI and semantic search features using embeddings and natural language interfaces across large datasets.

• Automate scheduling, notifications, application routing, status tracking, and email triage.

• Create dashboards and analytics, and work with partner and operations teams to improve workflows.

• Make pragmatic product and engineering tradeoffs in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 1 to 12 years of experience, including shipping production software in a startup or similarly early-stage environment.

• Product-minded full-stack engineering experience, with ownership of software and operational workflows.

• Experience designing and shipping AI or semantic search features, including embeddings or NLP across large datasets.

• Proficiency with Python and familiarity with Rails, React, and PostgreSQL, or equivalent technologies.

• Experience integrating external systems and APIs, such as calendar, messaging, email, or data platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $185,000 to $485,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
