Position Overview

The Senior Product Manager owns the product roadmap and delivery for assigned areas of the VICI platform. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this role serves as the connective layer between MPG’s business stakeholders and engineering, translating validated business needs into platform requirements and engineering-ready work.

The Senior Product Manager owns the backlog and delivery cadence, drives roadmap priorities, and keeps stakeholders and executives informed on progress, risks, and readiness. This role requires enough technical depth to collaborate credibly with developers, evaluate tradeoffs, and guide product decisions, while technical architecture and engineering implementation remain with engineering leadership.

This is a full-time, remote W-2 position within the Product Management function supporting the VICI platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for assigned workstreams, including prioritization and sequencing of client and business needs.
  • Translate business needs into platform requirements, Jira tickets, and engineering-ready work with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and engineering, keeping priorities aligned across both.
  • Lead workstreams end-to-end: roadmap, backlog, stakeholder cadence, delivery tracking, and client readiness.
  • Gather technical input through spike tickets and planning, while retaining ownership of product direction and priorities.
  • Define requirements for scalable rollouts, including data harmonization and semantic-layer needs.
  • Communicate milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource needs to stakeholders and executives on a consistent cadence.
  • Support go-to-market and client rollout planning, including pilots, training, and adoption feedback loops.
  • Contribute to product discipline: ownership clarity, operating cadence, RACI, and team practices.

Skills & Experience

  • Required:
    • 5+ years in product management or product ownership on a B2B SaaS or data platform, with direct roadmap and backlog ownership.
    • Proven ability to turn ambiguous business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and Jira-ready work.
    • Working technical fluency: comfortable discussing data models, integrations, and tradeoffs with engineers.
    • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and a prioritized, well-groomed backlog.
    • Strong written and verbal communication, including reporting to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with data, analytics, or reporting platforms, including data harmonization or semantic layers.
    • Experience supporting client-facing rollouts, pilots, or go-to-market launches.
    • Experience with retail, CPG, or supply-chain data.

Key Outcomes

  • Roadmaps and backlogs for assigned workstreams are current, well-managed, and traceable to validated business requirements.
  • A repeatable operating cadence for planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder reporting is established and maintained.
  • Executive-facing updates on milestones, risks, and dependencies are delivered consistently and clearly.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $150,000–$175,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is not eligible for a performance-based bonus.

Benefits

MPG offers a generous package of health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, paid maternity/paternity leave and life insurance. Our compensation program provides market industry base salary, bonuses, and 401K. In addition to paid holidays, we reward an employee’s extra efforts through unlimited paid time off.
