Senior Product Manager (Volunteer)
Location: Remote
Role type: Volunteer
Time commitment: 10–15 hours per week
Experience: 5+ years of relevant digital product experience
About Havora
Havora is an early-stage startup building a product that helps people form meaningful relationships through shared values, compatibility and clear intentions.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build Havora from the ground up. You will work closely with our founder, product team, designers and engineers to bring clarity to open questions, validate assumptions and move the product from discovery through launch.
This is a volunteer role from the outset. We are looking for someone who cares deeply about the problem we are solving and wants to take ownership of building the solution.
Your impact
* Translate our vision and user needs into a focused product strategy, roadmap and achievable milestones.
* Lead product discovery, challenge assumptions and make thoughtful decisions with incomplete information.
* Define requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria that give designers and engineers clear direction.
* Prioritise effectively, manage scope and balance user value, technical feasibility and delivery.
* Establish success metrics, learn from user behaviour and guide ongoing product improvements.
* Help create the structure, processes and product foundations needed to support future growth.
What you’ll bring
* 5+ years of product management experience building and shipping digital products, with clear examples of your contribution and results.
* Experience taking a product from concept to launch, ideally within an early-stage startup.
* Confidence navigating ambiguity, creating structure and moving work forward independently.
* Strong technical fluency, including an understanding of APIs, integrations, databases and the software development lifecycle. A technical background is strongly recommended.
* The ability to discuss implementation options, dependencies and technical trade-offs with engineers.
* Creative thinking grounded in research, sound judgement and real user needs.
* Consistent ownership, clear communication and follow-through without repeated prompting.
* A genuine interest in Havora’s mission and the problem we are trying to solve.
The commitment
This role requires an honest and sustained commitment of 10–15 hours per week. Please apply only if you can make this commitment and are comfortable taking initiative while collaborating closely with the team.
This is a volunteer position with no salary or stipend. If Havora reaches a stage where it can sustainably support paid roles, volunteers will receive priority consideration for permanent positions, leadership opportunities and potential long-term incentives. Any future opportunities will depend on contribution, commitment, performance and business needs and are not guaranteed.
How to apply
Please send your CV and portfolio or product case studies to hello@joinhavora.com.
In your application, tell us:
* What you have built and shipped.
* Which product decisions you owned.
* The results or impact of your work.
* Why Havora’s mission matters to you.
* Your weekly availability.
We look forward to hearing from you.
