👋 About Us
sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.
About the Role
We are looking for Product Managers to join our product organisation in New York or Paris. This role is designed for someone who already has solid product experience and is ready to take meaningful ownership of a product domain, grow quickly and operate close to customers, Engineering and Design.
You will work on a highly monetisable product, with a direct connection between product decisions, customer value, adoption and business impact. You will be expected to think clearly, move with urgency, challenge assumptions and turn ambiguous problems into simple, useful products.
We are intentionally looking for people who are still early in their careers but have exceptional potential: hungry to grow, malleable, coachable and able to take ownership beyond their formal scope.
Key Responsibilities
Own a product domain and its outcomes, including the key customer and business metrics that define success.
Spend time with restaurants, operational teams and users to understand their problems firsthand.
Turn customer insight, data and business context into clear product opportunities.
Define problems precisely and make sharp prioritisation trade-offs.
Build and maintain a focused roadmap connected to customer needs and business impact.
Work closely with Engineering and Design from discovery through launch and iteration.
Challenge technical assumptions constructively and develop enough technical understanding to make strong product decisions.
Lead launches, measure their impact and use what you learn to improve the product.
Communicate product decisions and reasoning clearly across the organisation.
Help sunday build a product culture that values customer proximity, simplicity, speed and measurable impact.
About You
Existing experience in Product Management, with evidence of owning products or meaningful product areas.
Experience working closely with Engineering and the confidence to challenge technical thinking constructively.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to use data to make decisions and measure impact.
Exceptional clarity of thought: you structure ideas well, communicate precisely and can explain your reasoning.
Strong customer ownership and a genuine interest in understanding users in the field.
A track record of prioritising problems and outcomes rather than simply shipping features.
High ownership, ambition and energy to grow quickly.
A fast learning velocity and a genuine openness to coaching and feedback.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and solving problems without waiting for perfect information.
Professional fluency in English. Additional French fluency is a plus for some product domains.
Why join sunday
High ownership: own a product domain and have a real influence on strategy, prioritisation and delivery.
A highly monetisable product: work at the intersection of payments, restaurants and measurable business value.
A steep growth curve: join at a stage where your scope can expand quickly as you demonstrate impact.
A strong product culture: work with people who value sharp thinking, customer proximity, clarity and the courage to challenge assumptions.
International exposure: collaborate across New York, Paris and sunday's broader international organisation.
