As a Senior Product Manager, Casualty, you'll play a critical role in defining the strategy, performance, and long-term direction of our casualty product portfolio. This highly visible position combines product strategy, market analysis, pricing oversight, innovation, and leadership to drive profitable growth across multiple states and lines of business.
You'll have the opportunity to influence key business decisions, launch new products, expand into new markets, and modernize our product offerings through data analytics, digitization, and emerging technologies. What You'll Do
Lead Product Strategy and Portfolio Performance
- Develop and execute multi-year product strategies and roadmaps aligned with corporate growth and profitability objectives.
- Own the performance of assigned casualty products across multiple states and territories.
- Continuously evaluate market conditions, results, and emerging trends to identify growth opportunities and strategic adjustments.
- Drive portfolio optimization through pricing, segmentation, underwriting collaboration, and performance monitoring.
Drive Innovation and Market Expansion
- Lead the design, development, and launch of new products, programs, and market opportunities.
- Identify emerging industry trends and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
- Champion modernization efforts through digitization, predictive analytics, automation, and enhanced user experiences.
- Evaluate customer needs, marketplace demands, and competitive positioning to improve product relevance and performance.
Oversee Pricing and Product Governance
- Lead implementation of rate, rule, and pricing changes across assigned product lines.
- Ensure product strategies align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Drive governance activities, audit readiness, compliance standards, and product management best practices.
- Represent the organization in regulatory discussions, industry forums, and external stakeholder engagements.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with underwriting, actuarial, claims, sales, operations, technology, and compliance teams.
- Align product strategy with enterprise priorities and market opportunities.
- Lead complex initiatives that require collaboration across multiple business areas.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for casualty product management.
Develop Talent and Lead Through Influence
- Provide leadership and guidance to product managers, analysts, and project teams.
- Coach and develop emerging talent within the product organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous learning, and ownership.
- Influence decisions across all levels of the organization through data, expertise, and strong business relationships.
Manage Strategic Partnerships
- Build and manage relationships with key vendors, industry partners, and external organizations.
- Evaluate technology and service solutions that enhance product effectiveness and competitive advantage.
- Lead external initiatives that support modernization and product innovation objectives.
What Makes You Successful
We're looking for a strategic business leader who combines product expertise, commercial insurance knowledge, and strong leadership capabilities.
You may be a great fit if you have:
- 7+ years of progressively responsible property and casualty insurance experience.
- Experience in product management, underwriting, actuarial, business strategy, or portfolio management.
- Proven success driving product performance and business results through data-driven decision making.
- Strong understanding of commercial casualty insurance products, pricing concepts, and regulatory environments.
- Experience leading complex initiatives across multiple business functions.
- Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business experience.
- Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, AU, INS, or a commitment to continuing insurance education.

Compensation
Senior Product Manager, Casualty
$145,600 - $218,400
Candidates whose experience more closely aligns with other levels may be considered for Product Manager or Associate Product Manager opportunities.
This position is eligible for participation in the Company's Variable Compensation Bonus Plan.
Final compensation is determined based on experience, geographic location, education, professional designations, scope of responsibilities, and overall qualifications.
