Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Product Manager to spearhead our strategic initiative: the Delivery Optimisation Engine. We are looking not only for someone to handle ongoing responsibilities, but for a true leader who will help scale the business, drive operational excellence, and safeguard platform resilience under massive scale. In this high-impact position, you will take dedicated Product Manager ownership of upcoming strategic initiatives, introduce industry best practices, optimize operational processes, and champion proactive risk management to ensure our infrastructure reliably supports our rapid expansion.

We are looking for people with:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in technical platforms, high-throughput systems, infrastructure, or complex distributed architectures.
  • Experience in working with operational processes (e.g. first/last mile operations across various markets) and improving them
  • Demonstrated ability to scale products and businesses, translating strategic growth targets into product strategies and actionable product roadmaps.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of bringing fresh perspectives, implementing industry best practices, and driving operational process optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with executive and C-level stakeholders.
  • Expertise in proactive risk management, identifying bottlenecks, and establishing robust mitigation strategies.
  • Solid experience with Agile methodologies and managing complex product backlogs.
  • Strong track record of translating complex technical realities into clear business value and vice versa.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience leveraging metrics and data analysis to guide prioritization and measure impact.
  • English at minimum B2 level and Polish at minimum C1 level.

In your daily work, you will handle the following tasks:

  • Take dedicated PM ownership of the Delivery Optimisation Engine, defining its vision, roadmap, and timelines while overseeing execution and delivery.
  • Drive critical strategic initiatives required to support ambitious business scaling and platform performance over the next 12–24 months.
  • Drive product and processes exploration and discoveries, including e2e process overviews with operations, market research, build vs buy decisions.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, optimize cross-team workflows, and champion platform best practices across engineering squads.
  • Implement proactive risk management strategies, actively anticipating overload scenarios, architectural constraints, and operational dependencies.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in close partnership with engineering leads to ensure delivery stays aligned with long-term strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to reconcile needs, align objectives, and ensure clear communication across all levels.

What's in it for you:

  • Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
  • Long term discretionary incentive plan based on Allegro.eu shares (restricted stock units).
  • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
  • Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
  • A 16" or 14" MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell with Windows (if you don't like Macs) and all the necessary accessories.
  • A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
  • English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
  • A training budget, inter-team tourism (more here), hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
  • An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
  • Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, Advent of Code, and many other occasions we enjoy.

And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here
