How you’ll make an impact

Use your product ownership, Agile delivery and stakeholder engagement experience to help technology teams turn business needs into clear, prioritized work that delivers value across FCC.

As a Senior Product Owner, Business Enablement, you’ll partner with Agile teams, product leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to manage priorities, refine work requirements and connect technology delivery to organizational outcomes.

You’ll be part of a technology enablement team that supports a wide range of business stakeholders and technology products, including SaaS platforms, third-party applications and tools such as Microsoft 365 and ServiceNow.

We’re looking for a collaborative product leader who understands how technology teams operate, can bring structure to competing priorities and is comfortable supporting a broad mix of business capabilities.

If you’re an organized communicator who can balance competing needs, support Agile maturity and lead through influence, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll do

  • Create, maintain and prioritize a transparent product backlog that supports product goals, business priorities and team capacity
  • Work with product leaders, Agile team members and stakeholders to understand needs, clarify problems and translate them into well-defined requirements, user stories and releasable business value
  • Support intake, refinement, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives while helping the team mature its Agile practices and delivery processes
  • Engage proactively with a broad range of business and technology stakeholders, balancing different needs and helping align priorities across teams
  • Communicate product priorities, delivery status, trade-offs and changing functionality in a way that creates clarity for team members, leaders and stakeholders
  • Provide informal leadership by connecting day-to-day work to team and organizational strategy, helping the team move forward with focus and confidence

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • A degree in business administration, computer science or a related discipline
  • At least eight years of progressive experience in technology, product ownership, business analysis, project management or a related field
  • Minimum four years of experience in a project management, lead analysis, product owner or similar delivery leadership role (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks and methodologies, including backlog management, intake, refinement, user stories, sprint or cycle planning and continuous improvement
  • Experience working with technology products, SaaS platforms, third-party applications or technology-enabled business capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities, make sound prioritization decisions and communicate trade-offs clearly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, negotiate priorities and build alignment across business and technology teams
  • Informal leadership experience, including the ability to motivate others, create clarity and connect team delivery to broader strategy

Preferred qualifications:

  • Product Owner certification
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, vendor-supported applications or enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Experience managing vendors or working across multiple business units, products or stakeholder groups

  • Knowledge of technology lifecycle processes, industry trends, project or program management practices, or financial services and agriculture
