Senior Product Owner (Threat Intelligence) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner – Threat Intelligence to lead the development and continuous improvement of a cyber threat intelligence service within a large public sector environment. You will be responsible for managing threat intelligence products, optimizing data flows, defining product strategy, and ensuring stakeholders receive timely, actionable intelligence to strengthen cybersecurity. Start Date: 27 July 2026 Contract Duration: Until 15 July 2027 Workload: Full-time (100%) Location: Hybrid (Brussels/Ghent) Remote Work: Available (onsite presence required on designated office days) Language Requirement: Dutch (CEFR C2) – Mandatory Key Responsibilities Own and manage the Threat Intelligence product and its roadmap. Define and maintain the product vision and strategy while balancing stakeholder needs. Manage, optimize, and document cyber threat intelligence data flows. Analyze external threat intelligence and correlate it with internal security data sources. Assess cyber risks and prioritize threats based on impact and urgency. Produce executive summaries for management and detailed technical reports for security teams. Improve the maturity and quality of threat intelligence processes and services. Establish quality controls and governance mechanisms for threat intelligence operations. Monitor the effectiveness of mitigation actions and follow up on security recommendations. Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog. Gather, analyze, and define business and technical requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive product improvements. Document processes, methodologies, and best practices. Support knowledge sharing and mentor colleagues to ensure sustainable expertise within the organization. Required Skills & Experience Mandatory Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst . Minimum 5 years of experience defining and managing product vision, strategy, objectives, and product roadmaps. Certified Product Owner or Product Manager within an Agile methodology. Experience managing Product Backlogs and prioritization. Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. Experience with project management disciplines including planning, estimation, timelines, and cost management. Strong experience producing reports for both technical and executive audiences. Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2). Preferred Qualifications Experience with security frameworks such as: ISO/IEC 27000 NIST COBIT OWASP CIS Critical Security Controls Experience with cloud vulnerability management. Knowledge of: Infrastructure Networks Cloud platforms Experience working with: SIEM/SOC environments Asset Management Configuration Management Identity & Access Management Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to make decisions in fast-changing environments.
