The Sr. Production Artist plays a critical role, serving as the liaison between creative, production, account management, project/traffic management, and creative freelancers and outside vendors. Executes key initiatives to increase client and agency profitability by producing quality art efficiently. Also provides support to creative staff to manage workflow and enable them to work effectively.

Your Impact:

  • Execute rules and procedures to produce high-quality final art efficiently
  • Assist the creative team as assigned
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop standards and skills in effective file building
  • Help troubleshoot any issues relating to art files internally and with end users
  • Maintain strategic direction, adherence to client brand standards, and best practices for artwork
  • Assist other departments in training new hires
  • Act as a liaison between studio and the creative team along with other departments, building agency-wide trust-based relationships
  • Assist in research and planning for Mac equipment and software, including upgrades and associated training
  • Improve, train, and enforce rules and procedures for file organization and server hygiene as necessary
  • Assist with workload coverage as needed during department personnel time off or to balance workloads
  • Write performance reviews for any future reporting positions
  • Attend and participate in daily morning creative meetings as deemed necessary
  • Assist studio director and creative team with stock art procurement
  • Assume or arrange for coverage of studio responsibilities for future reporting positions when they are out.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • 7 years of direct marketing agency experience preferred.
  • A demonstrated interest in helping to promote positive social change.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite software.
  • Font management, project management, general office software power user.
  • Strong organization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to have sensitive conversations and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Ability to engage individuals at all levels and diverse groups around common objectives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of how a professional services firm operates, with particular insight into the development of an agency’s success
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions to challenges
  • Deep understanding of the impact of culture and talent development on a professional services firm’s success, and the ability to design systems and thinking that support creation and cultivation of healthy corporate culture
  • Flexibility to manage an ever-changing and heavy workload by effectively setting, observing, and continually re-evaluating project priorities.
  • Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
