About Bolt
Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.
From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.
And we're just getting started.
Why join Bolt?
Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.
About the role
As a Senior Program Manager - Driver & Marketplace Operations in Central Ops - Rides, you'll define and scale how Central Operations owns business-level driver and marketplace metrics, feature configuration governance and live feature performance. You'll empower markets to operate effectively while keeping global consistency and marketplace health, by building structured monitoring frameworks, driving cross-functional alignment and creating scalable mechanisms that improve decision-making and operational excellence. You'll report to the Head of Driver Operations and be based in London, United Kingdom.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Own and define the core business-level metrics across Driver and Marketplace, with clear definitions aligned with Central Operations and Product leadership, and build city-level diagnostic frameworks and playbooks that help Central Ops and local teams interpret metric movements and run root-cause analysis after feature enablement.
Design and implement governance frameworks for feature configuration management, including guardrails, intake processes and approval criteria for local market requests.
Own the gating and assessment process for market-driven feature configuration requests, ensuring consistency, scalability and operational feasibility, and keep structured documentation of feature suitability, market conditions and country readiness to support disciplined expansion across countries.
Implement closed-loop monitoring to track the impact of configuration changes and ensure accountability post-launch, partnering with Product and Analytics teams so dashboards and tooling give effective performance visibility.
Maintain clear RACI and RAPID models across Product and Central Ops for feature rollout, testing, handover and live-market ownership, and continuously improve the operating model between Product Ops and Central Ops to reduce ambiguity and speed up execution.
About you:
Proven experience in program management, marketplace operations or a related field, with a strong understanding of two-sided marketplace dynamics (matching, dispatch and driver experience levers) and operational governance.
Proven experience building scalable cross-functional processes and operating models, and translating strategy into clear governance structures.
Demonstrated ability to work with data, turning metrics into structured action plans, backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills (a degree in mathematics, engineering, technology or an equivalent quantitative field is preferred).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align matrixed teams and explain complex marketplace concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working in fast-paced, cross-regional environments, with strong program planning skills: defining milestones and managing dependencies across multiple teams and markets.
