Overview

Senior Program Manager, Leader Enablement & Development

Location: Remote – US Work Model: Remote

About the Role

The Manager Development Program Manager owns the strategy and execution of Hyland's frontline sales manager development programs — coaching, deal inspection, and pipeline management — ensuring managers build the capability to drive consistent team performance well beyond their own onboarding.

This role is highly cross-functional, partnering closely with the New Hire Onboarding Program Manager, Enablement Business Partners, and Enablement Content Managers. Acting as the central orchestrator of frontline manager capability across the manager's lifecycle, this role translates business priorities and performance gaps into integrated programs that drive consistent coaching behavior and measurable team impact.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Global Enablement Programs.

Here's What You'll Do

  • Own the global frontline manager development strategy, aligned to Hyland's sales methodology, GTM priorities, and sales leadership expectations; define and evolve "what good looks like" for frontline manager effectiveness in partnership with Sales Leadership and EBPs; design progressive manager development programs covering coaching, deal inspection, and pipeline management; build practical tools and frameworks that enable managers to reinforce skills, behaviors, and GTM initiatives within their teams
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership to align manager development programs to business priorities, GTM motions, and performance expectations; act as a trusted advisor on manager capability; gather ongoing qualitative feedback from sales leaders and managers to inform program evolution and prioritization
  • Partner with the New Hire Onboarding Program Manager on transition points when a new or newly promoted manager moves from onboarding into ongoing manager development; ensure consistent coaching language and frameworks from onboarding through advanced manager development; equip EBPs with scalable programs, tools, and reinforcement strategies they can activate with their aligned sales leaders
  • Collaborate with Enablement Content Managers to ensure manager development programs are supported by high-quality, reusable, scalable content; partner with Rev Ops and Enablement Analytics to align programs to performance data, KPIs, and inspection metrics; use data to inform prioritization, measure program effectiveness, and connect manager development to business outcomes
  • Design integrated learning experiences using a mix of ILT, virtual, on-demand, peer learning, and reinforcement; own end-to-end program management for assigned initiatives from intake and design through launch and reinforcement; ensure programs are globally scalable and adaptable across regions and management levels
  • Define success metrics for manager development programs including coaching cadence and quality, team proficiency, behavior change, and business impact; build reinforcement strategies that sustain coaching behavior beyond one-time training events; establish a structured feedback loop across Sales Leadership, EBPs, and Rev Ops to continuously evaluate and improve program effectiveness

  • Content Development Tools (AI-first)

Role Essentials

  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Manager Enablement, or Sales Coaching within B2B SaaS or tech companies; Bachelor's degree or related experience required
  • Proven experience designing and scaling frontline manager development programs, specifically coaching and pipeline/deal inspection capability
  • Strong ability to lead through influence and operate in a highly matrixed environment; experience partnering with onboarding, field enablement, and content teams
  • Excellent program management, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills; strong program and project management capabilities with a track record of delivering complex initiatives
  • Strategic mindset paired with strong execution and attention to detail; high judgment, strong initiative, and a clear sense of urgency

What We'd Like to See

  • Experience tying manager development directly to sales KPIs such as quota attainment, win rates, deal velocity, pipeline health, and coaching cadence
  • Demonstrated success defining manager enablement strategy and overseeing execution at scale; prior experience supporting complex, enterprise-level sales motions
  • Ability to analyze GTM and coaching performance data and translate insights into action; experience with modern learning technologies and content development tools with an AI-first mindset
