Senior Project Engineer - Civil

Description Martin/Martin is looking for an experienced civil senior project engineer to join our Denver, Colorado office. The position will provide opportunities for civil design throughout the Front Range of Colorado as well as nationally. The Team Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver. Responsibilities Assist in master planning and conceptual design. Assist in fee determination and proposal preparation. Assist with monitoring design budgets and project schedules. Serve as point-of-contact with Clients, Contractors and other design disciplines. Manage multiple engineering projects from start of design through completion of construction. Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians. Utilizes AutoCAD/Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate medium to large size projects within time allotments and within project budgets. Attend project meetings during design and construction. Provide quality-control check of work produced. Provide project construction administration support including shop drawing review, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and field observations. Monitor project budgets and reviews and/or approves invoicing to clients. Participate in collection and account receivable efforts. Works overtime, when necessary. Requirements Required Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum. Min 7 years' experience in site development Has a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado or the ability to obtain one within three months Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Ability to work in the Denver area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function. The following abilities are required: Move inside or outside the office and on non-ADA accessible construction sites Remain stationary for long periods of time Repetitive movement on tasks such as using a keyboard or mouse Carry, ascend, and descend a ladder Identify color Read, communicate, and document in English Determine and exchange accurate information Occasionally move or hold equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Compensation The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Base Salary: For individuals hired in Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $111,000 to $130,000 annually. Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin’s annual base salary increase review process. Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program. Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual’s job-level and annual company performance.
