Senior Project Manager
IdexxIDEXX is growing rapidly and is looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager to support the global Lab Information Management PMO. In this role, you will oversee and manage high visibility projects, focusing on implementation of our new Global Lab Information System while working closely with our global lab operations teams. Your role will include scope definition, creation and communication of end-to-end project plans, clearly outlined dependencies and roles, as well as risk assessment and escalation of issues to ensure successful project completion. What you need to succeed: You have a background in a healthcare or scientific environment and an interest in bringing innovative solutions to veterinary health care. You are agile, fast learner, and have the ability to understand complex problems and help drive successful and exciting change within our fast-paced Reference Labs. You facilitate collaboration, encourage others to share their ideas and input, and are a good listener. You manage conflict effectively, keeping disagreements constructive and finding common ground among stakeholders. You are comfortable leading without authority and make good and timely decisions to keep your project moving forward. You bring a proven track record of strong work ethic and self-driven. You have superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow through on tasks. You don’t get overwhelmed, or distracted easily. You can lead multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams and can manage customer expectations You mentor, train, and motivate other project managers on core project management skills, and may be asked to directly manage staff. You get things done, you have experience and knowledge of project management, with an in-depth working knowledge of PM lifecycle processes, including both agile and waterfall. You understand the impact of a highly satisfied, excited crew; you are slightly obsessive-compulsive about grinding away at issues. You’ve proven to be organized with excellent communications and stakeholder management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities. You are analytically oriented. You have excellent judgment and decision- making skills. You drive results in a big way and can get things done in a highly matrixed and relationship-based organization. You articulate a clear vision and strategy that drives results and motivates others to action. You drive engagement by creating a climate where team members are motivated to help achieve shared objectives. What you can expect from us: This is a hybrid role based out of our Hoofddorp location, with a minimum requirement of eight days a month onsite.
