Senior Project Manager

As the Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing project plans, tools, and associated management to undertake established initiatives within dmarcian. You will lead projects by utilizing your expertise throughout the company, as well as participate in the hiring and training of relevant support members. Who We’re Looking For You have industry expertise and considerable knowledge with applying PMI project management processes, methods and strategies in various environments and cultures. You are flexible and open to aligning to the organizational working norms and environment to progress the organization further over time. You maintain excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills along with the ability to establish guidelines in these areas for others. You embody a strong sense of personal accountability and room for growth regarding decision-making. You have professional experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in a high-level collaborative environments while maintaining a teamwork mentality You value collaborative conflict in decision-making, continuous improvement of systems, and show the ability to improve your work based on feedback. You have the curiosity to learn about DMARC and Sociocracy. You are PMI Certified. You have the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately through a high volume of concurrent projects, while operating asynchronously. You resonate with our culture and values and have an eagerness to be actively involved in cultivating and refining our practices accordingly. While not required, a strong preference will be given to those with experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, the email ecosystem, DNS and domain management Responsibilities Ensure well-planned lifecycle project stages are created and completed by all team members and departments Identify project goals and scope Monitoring progress, offering guidance/ training, and collaborating with task owners to create specific, measurable, achievable, and relevant (SMART) goals Guidance and training is around helping task owners know how to set goals and what are good goals Plan and document project tasks Ensure deliverables are delivered on-time Manage all project resources Risk Identification and Mitigation Conduct regular risk assessments throughout project lifecycle Develop contingency plans for potential obstacles Implement mitigation strategies proactively Adapt quickly when unexpected challenges arise Effectively communicate with stakeholders Eliminate blockers and potential risks Track project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met Document projects process using various project management tools Consistently and effectively communicate projects’ progress across the organization; from individual, to team level, to Global Circle Ensure top-quality results and project success Work closely across all Circles to gather and organize initiatives based on the current strategic objectives Strategize to improve aspects of project planning and the management of resources company-wide Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement; considering observations/insights and feedback Clearly and concisely communicate complex technical, strategical, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough, all-encompassing, iterative solutions Role Objectives Ensure projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget Demonstrate the ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles and improve company practices Develop meaningful workflows and practice effective, non-traditional supervision of projects across diverse departmental teams Propose interesting opportunities to assist leadership in market research, strategic planning, and future features.
