Senior Project Manager (AWS)

We are looking for a client-facing Project Manager to own delivery coordination for an AWS Customer Experience Engineering team delivering Amazon Connect solutions across multiple European client engagements. You will be responsible for managing scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies while serving as the primary communication point for clients, engineering teams, and key stakeholders.
This is a delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, driving execution, resolving issues proactively, and ensuring projects stay on track. Your success will be measured by the team's ability to deliver efficiently, the quality of stakeholder communication, and the trust you build with clients.

Required experience and skills

• Proven experience managing client facing technology delivery engagements, ideally in cloud, software, or contact center programs.
• Demonstrated ownership of scope, schedule, dependency, and risk management across concurrent workstreams.
• Experience running sprint planning, backlog coordination, and delivery tracking for engineering teams.
• Strong written and spoken English and the professionalism to interact directly with client stakeholders at working and management levels.
• Experience coordinating distributed teams across European and US time zones, including scheduling and communication discipline.
• Disciplined issue management, including early escalation, structured follow through, and clear communication of blockers and resolutions.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate status reports, delivery plans, risk registers, and release or cutover plans for clients and internal leadership.
• Comfortable operating in a contractor led environment alongside partner teams and client engineering staff.

Primary responsibilities

• Act as the primary client facing point of contact for delivery communication, status reporting, and expectation management.
• Manage scope, schedule, dependencies, and risks for the engagement, keeping plans current and stakeholders informed of changes and tradeoffs.
• Coordinate the day to day work of the web test automation QA engineer and the two senior Amazon Connect engineers, including sprint planning, work tracking, and delivery reporting.
• Plan and run sprint ceremonies, delivery reviews, and planning sessions with the team and the client.
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependency issues early, escalate appropriately, and drive follow through to resolution.
• Coordinate across the European delivery team, partner teams, and US based stakeholders to keep priorities, timing, and dependencies aligned.
• Support commercial hygiene, including effort tracking, change requests, and forecast inputs where required.
• Maintain delivery documentation such as status reports, RAID logs, meeting notes, release plans, and support handover materials.
