Your contribution will be Leading the delivery of multiple complex or high-impact projects, often spanning countries, thematic areas, or strategic priorities, ensuring alignment across workstreams, stakeholders, and organisational objectives with the aim of implementation of our expansion priorities Providing expertise and coordinating Legal, Operations, Compliance and Implementation input in the primary assessment and feasibility checks in new and existing FOUR PAWS country locations Driving high-quality execution through matrix leadership of core teams, enabling cross-functional collaboration, consistency, and innovation across all stages of project delivery Overseeing budgets and resource allocation, ensuring effective use of resources and accountability for delivery outcomes across projects Managing project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, anticipating systemic challenges and resolving project-related matters within core teams without escalation Providing oversight of project performance, translating progress, risks, and trends into clear insights to inform senior leadership and governance decision-making Providing guidance on complex challenges and shaping solutions to strengthen delivery capability Building stakeholder relationships, shaping consensus and ensuring clear alignment across departments and country offices Your profile ideally illustrates Several years of experience in project management roles, ideally in the area of expansion, country establishment and legal governance in the non-profit sector Experience delivering high-complexity projects involving multiple entities, cross-functional teams and external stakeholders Full professional proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage for international collaboration Advanced proficiency in MS Office and project management tools, such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent, to support planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of complex initiatives Strong leadership and collaboration skills, , influence senior stakeholders, and navigate complex organisational dynamics Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities, able to anticipate risks, resolve issues proactively, and drive consistent project excellence Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ vision and mission Our offer includes The opportunity to truly contribute to global animal welfare An international, dynamic work environment Flexible working times with the option of partial remote work A dog-friendly workplace Workplace health and wellbeing initiatives Wiener Linien annual ticket (or partial contribution to Klima Ticket) and pension fund after probationary period PAWSdays: extra days off at the end of the year on top of your 25 days of annual leave Birthday leave: extra day off to use around your birthday A 2-year limited contract with the possibility of extension The minimum gross annual salary for this position starts at EUR 55,000 (full-time base, consisting of 14 payments), in accordance with our internal compensation scheme Join our passionate team to make a difference for animals.
