Senior Project Manager / PM Team Lead – eCommerce & Integrations

Location: Dublin 15 | Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite

Are you an experienced technical Project Manager who has directly managed and developed other Project Managers?

Our client is looking for a hands-on delivery leader to manage a small PM team, oversee a portfolio of eCommerce and marketplace integration projects, and personally deliver key initiatives.

The role

You’ll oversee multiple smaller projects alongside larger, more complex implementations. You’ll bring clear ownership, structure and accountability to delivery, keeping projects moving from requirements and planning through development, integration, UAT and go-live.

You’ll understand how the components of a technical project fit together, including responsibilities across developers, clients and external partners. When an issue arises, you’ll investigate, establish where the problem sits and drive it through to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage, coach and develop a small team of Project Managers, setting expectations and managing performance.
• Maintain portfolio visibility across timelines, resources, dependencies, budgets and delivery risks.
• Personally lead strategic client-facing and internal projects.
• Work closely with Engineering, Commercial, Operations and external partners to resolve blockers and manage commitments.
• Challenge technical assumptions and ensure issues are fully resolved before closure.
• Oversee UAT, acceptance criteria, release readiness and go-live.
• Own and improve project governance, change control, templates and reporting.
• Track project costs, resource effort, scope changes and billing milestones.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ experience delivering complex technical projects.
• Proven direct line management of Project Managers, including coaching, performance management and development.
• Experience delivering eCommerce, marketplace, SaaS or systems integration projects.
• Technical confidence discussing APIs, data flows, system dependencies and integration issues.
• Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects and allocating resources across a portfolio.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence challenging clients, technical teams and senior leaders.
• Commercial awareness across budgets, scope and delivery capacity.
• A project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
