We are seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Proposal Specialist, you will handle responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) by coordinating teams, challenging them to effectively create value for the client/prospect, writing/editing proposals, and ensuring that the team meets deadlines. The IMPACT process focuses on creating value propositions by questioning, researching, communicating, and translating client needs to Marsh solutions.
We Will Count On You To
- Write persuasive proposal/presentation content and executive summaries that are geared towards readers' needs and level of knowledge and that follows company best practice approach.
- Review RFPs for complete understanding of proposal submission requirements
- Facilitate opportunity strategy formulation, working closely with Client Managers/consulting team to help identify client/prospect business-drivers, and create the optimal proposal communication strategy, corresponding theme and graphic approach.
- Use company tools to perform client research.
- Manage the proposal/presentation development process, assuming total responsibility for management of the proposal/presentation development process for projects including document formatting and design to ensure Brand compliance.
- Additionally review proposals written by the proposal team members and provide mentoring and guidance to them.
What You Need To Have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, marketing, English, communication, or other relevant specialty.
- 5-8 years of overall work experience with prior proposal writing and/or bid management experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills including facilitation, writing, and editing.
