We support millions of customers worldwide, helping them navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.

AXA Health supports members to put their health first, from individuals to huge corporates, with fast access to diagnosis and treatment when they need it.

Job overview:

Are you passionate about shaping innovative health insurance solutions? We’re looking for someone who is brilliant at turning ideas into reality. You’ll be creative, with the vision to come up with great concepts, as well as ability to see them through to successful delivery. You’ll lead the development, delivery and optimisation of propositions within AXA Health’s SME (small to medium enterprise) customer segment. Drive commercial success while ensuring customer need remains at the heart of our offerings. You’ll collaborate with AXA Health colleagues to deliver impactful health insurance products that are competitive, compliant and customer centric. They’ll be opportunity for you to learn and work on other segments too, including individual and corporate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and manage performance outcomes of propositions within the SME segment, focusing on growth, retention, utilisation and customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyse product performance, identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development of new healthcare propositions, ensuring they meet segment needs and comply with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take propositions from concept through to launch, supporting commercial and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide insights on customer behaviour, market trends and competitor dynamics to inform proposition development.
  • Produce clear performance reports and insights for senior stakeholders, supporting data led decision making.
  • Identify emerging risks and escalate issues appropriately, run post-implementation reviews and tracking benefits.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, including broker and intermediary relationships and contribute to cross segment initiatives.

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending our Tunbridge Wells office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your skills & experience:

  • Proposition or project management capabilities, with experience of delivering on time and within scope is essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of health insurance markets and the UK healthcare sector is required.
  • Experience in developing SME health or insurance propositions from insight to launch within a regulated environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrable risk management skills, including managing financial, non-financial and clinical risks.
  • Experience working in agile teams and delivering customer-focused outcomes.
  • Knowledge of financial appraisal methodologies, proposition costing and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to manage ambiguity, break down challenges and work independently.
  • Passion for healthcare innovation, with a proactive approach to sharing learning and best practices.
