Job Description: As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with St John of God services to find an experienced and dedicated Senior Psychologist who will be based in Beaufort, County Kerry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of effective, efficient and person – centred psychological and compassion focused support for children and adults with an intellectual disability. This role is required on a permanent basis which follows the current HSE pay & pension guidelines. Full time hours are required (35 hrs pw) with the option for 2 days remote. Requirements: A recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical, Educational or Counselling Psychology Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and is validated by the Department of Health and Children Experience working with individuals with intellectual disability Experience in multidisciplinary team working Ability to deliver training and provide supervision Full licence for a manual vehicle Right to work in Ireland without VISA sponsorship Additional Information: The role may involve travel across multiple service locations Flexibility is required in line with service needs The successful candidate must comply with organisational policies including confidentiality, health & safety and professional standards This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care while working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
