Senior Python Developer, Serverless/AWS

Your first assignment Your first assignment will likely put you in charge of defining and delivering solutions for modern applications: leading feature work on an AWS cloud-native stack, with ownership of user stories from refinement all the way to production; directing the build of serverless, event-driven application workflows on Lambda and Step Functions; owning how commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products integrate into the larger system frameworks built in-house; designing and shipping the API interconnections modern system architectures rest on; or leading the data and document pipelines that make automatic what used to be manual and paper-heavy. Adaptability and a demonstrated capacity to learn new concepts, systems, and tools are what keep you ahead of program needs as projects complete and priorities shift. What you'll need Sole United States citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination are required for this initial engagement. This is a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and it requires commuting into DC regularly.
