Their platform brings AI-driven automation to data quality and governance, continuously monitoring, improving, and explaining data reliability across complex enterprise and multi-agent environments. Built around a market-leading data quality engine, it unifies data quality monitoring, cataloging, lineage, observability, and reference data management into a single, quality-first foundation that powers AI, analytics, and operations with confidence.
The company has been recognized as a leader in a major industry analyst report for its category. Their team is distributed globally and collaborates closely across time zones, guided by a culture built around collaboration, customer-centricity, candor, and high ambition.
This role sits within the Core Engineering team, building a self-service, cloud-based enterprise web application that scales in every dimension — for some of the world's most demanding enterprise clients, where releases must meet rigorous security standards and enterprise-grade SLAs.
- Develop a self-service, cloud-based enterprise web application designed to scale extensively.
- Collaborate on improving the platform's architecture and streamlining the release process for rapid time-to-value, without compromising security standards.
- Build user-friendly features that support clients through their data management transformation.
- Help decouple a predominantly monolithic application, enabling feature teams to deliver updates swiftly and independently.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the product — from feature development to achieving ambitious SLAs across hundreds of customer environments.
- Develop a deep understanding of data management and design scalable systems capable of handling vast data volumes across the cloud ecosystem and multiple data sources.
- Write clean, well-designed, documented, and testable code, with a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and delivery speed.
- Take ownership of your work end-to-end — code should be ready for deployment and operation in cloud environments.
- Work with fully multi-tenant systems, message queue services (e.g. RabbitMQ), and distributed systems environments.
- Collaborate on implementing AI-based features into the platform at scale.
Tech we expect:
- Strong experience in Python, ideally with FastAPI; Java expertise is also welcomed.
- Comfortable with REST API and GraphQL for service communication.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure and common managed services (e.g. Aurora Serverless, managed AKS/EKS).
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and related orchestration technologies.
- Experience building fully multi-tenant and distributed systems, and working with message queue services like RabbitMQ.
General tech stack you'll encounter: Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, GraphQL, Python, FastAPI, jOOQ (backend); Aurora, Postgres, Elastic, S3 (storage); GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure (infrastructure); TypeScript, React/Vue, Apollo, Nx, MobX (frontend); Spark, Redshift, Snowflake (big data).
You're outstanding candidate if:
- You enjoy tackling complex applications and diving into research when intricate algorithms or data structures are needed.
- You're passionate about building secure cloud applications.
- You genuinely enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with others.
- You're comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of software engineering and operations.
- You'd rather iterate on a solution than spend excessive time perfecting the first version.
