PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Our partner, ABN AMRO Clearing, is a global leader in the domain of clearing, offering access to a wide range of listed instruments on markets across the globe. THE ROLE INVOLVES: We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with a sharp eye for detail and deep technical expertise to play a key role in building and evolving our partner's solutions within their Client Instructing Team. This role has a strong focus on serverless and container-based architecture and will involve working closely with other engineers to design, build, and operate reliable, secure, cloud-native systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, setting a high bar for code quality and craftsmanship. Build and operate solutions on AWS, with a strong focus on serverless services (e.g. Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, Step Functions, etc.). Implement and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK and/or CloudFormation is preferred but not mandatory). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and well-architected solutions. Ensure reliability, quality, performance, and security of applications, with meticulous attention to detail. Actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions. Troubleshoot issues in development and production environments and contribute to continuous improvement.
