🚨 CRITICAL NEED – Senior QA Automation Engineer | Retail / E-Commerce

6+ months contract

📍 Location: Houston, TX
🧪 Focus: QA Automation | Playwright | TypeScript | Retail

We are urgently looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on automation expertise and experience supporting complex Retail / E-Commerce environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience across Web, API, and Database testing, with Playwright + TypeScript being mandatory requirements.

🔹 Key Requirements

✅ Strong hands-on Playwright automation experience – MANDATORY
✅ Strong TypeScript experience for test automation
✅ Advanced QA Automation expertise, including framework development and maintenance
✅ Experience testing across Web / API / Database (DB) layers
✅ Strong Retail / E-Commerce domain experience
✅ Understanding of end-to-end retail architecture and integrations:
E-Commerce → OMS → POS → Integrations
✅ Exposure to relevant AI tools / AI-assisted engineering or testing workflows
✅ Knowledge of AI Agents, MD files (.md), and SKILL files / skill-based agent configuration
✅ Strong understanding of integration testing and end-to-end business process validation
✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
