About The Opportunity
You will define testing strategies, build reusable automation frameworks, and integrate quality controls into CI/CD pipelines. Working across modern web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud environments, you will help teams deliver reliable software and improve testing coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, APIs, backend services, databases, and end-to-end business processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve coverage, execution reliability, and reporting.
- Create and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, and acceptance testing.
- Validate application behaviour across browsers, devices, and operating systems.
- Verify performance, reliability, security, and accessibility requirements.
- Manage defects throughout their lifecycle, support root cause analysis, and report on software quality.
- 6+ years of proven experience in QA automation or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Postman/Newman, Jest, Vitest, Testing Library, and Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
- Ability to write maintainable automation code using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and Python.
- Experience with REST API testing, contract validation, OpenAPI/Swagger, authentication testing using OAuth2 and JWT, mocking, and service virtualization.
- Experience testing frontend applications built with React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience validating backend services developed with Node.js, NestJS, and Python.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis, including data validation, integrity testing, SQL query analysis, and test data management.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, containerized testing environments, and CI/CD integration.
- Ability to communicate in Portuguese and English.
- Knowledge of testing applications built with Vite, TanStack Query, and Zustand.
