Senior QA Engineer

CTG is seeking to fill a Senior QA Engineer position for our client.

Location: RemoteDuration: 12 months, with possibility for extension

Duties:

• Provide QA leadership, operational direction, and governance for testing assignments.

• Develop and execute test plans for functional, performance, regression, integration, sanity, and smoke testing.

• Analyze requirements and upcoming releases for completeness, testability, and quality.

• Perform test result analysis and provide actionable quality improvement feedback.

• Create and maintain automated test suites aligned with organizational standards and best practices.

• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks; expand automated coverage with each release.

• Provide sprint estimates and support planning, tracking, and delivery activities.

• Perform hands-on QA engineering and collaborate with onshore/offshore teams.

• Promote software quality and continuous improvement across Agile development teams.

Skills:

• Strong expertise in QA methodologies, test automation, and quality engineering.

• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks.

• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, or JavaScript.

• API testing using Postman and/or RestAssured.

• SQL/database querying and repository maintenance.

• Automated test integration with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines.

• ADO Test Case management.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and testing best practices.

Experience:

• 5–8 years of QA/testing experience.

• Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.

• Experience planning, tracking, and delivering testing activities within Agile sprints.

• Experience participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Experience implementing industry-standard testing methodologies and processes.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00 to $76.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
