This role is based at one of our corporate offices in Dallas, TX or Memphis, TN

This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Quality Release Engineering team reporting to the Senior Manager Quality Engineering, you will support projects including web and mobile application quality initiatives, accessibility (A11Y) compliance efforts, test automation enhancements, and AI-enabled quality engineering solutions that help deliver exceptional digital experiences for Hilton guests and Team Members.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test scripts and testing strategies for web and mobile applications, validating new and existing functionality throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Execute quality engineering activities including automated testing, accessibility (A11Y) testing, defect identification, quality risk assessment, and compliance with established quality processes and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business partners to improve product quality, promote testability during design and development, and identify opportunities to enhance automation practices.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools and AI-enabled quality engineering techniques to accelerate test creation, support debugging and risk analysis, improve code quality, and enhance efficiency throughout the software development lifecycle.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Partner with software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences across web, mobile, and Team Member platforms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support accessibility compliance efforts and promote quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Projects you'll take ownership of:

  • Support the execution and continuous improvement of testing strategies for web and mobile applications, including manual, automated, and accessibility testing efforts.
  • Contribute to Hilton's AI-enhanced quality engineering practices through the use of AI-assisted testing and quality engineering tools.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology, Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a related field.
  • Experience executing software testing activities across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience identifying software defects, quality risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Experience using accessibility testing tools such as AXE and JAWS.
  • This is a hybrid role and would require to be near our Memphis or Dallas office location.
  • Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree plus 6+ years of Technology-related experience, or High School Diploma/GED plus 12+ years of Technology-related experience.
  • Five (5) + years of professional experience in Technology, Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a related field.
  • Experience using automated testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and interpreting test execution results.
  • Experience mentoring or providing guidance to less experienced testers.
  • Experience using or configuring AI-assisted tools to improve testing workflows, test generation, or quality engineering activities.
  • Interest in evaluating emerging AI-enabled engineering approaches and contributing to quality engineering best practices.
