Operating globally, Verian has offices across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the United States About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior R2R Accountant to join our Finance Centre of Excellence in Vilnius. This is a senior hands-on position within the Record to Report function, responsible for ensuring high-quality general ledger accounting, strong financial controls, and timely reporting across multiple international entities. The role combines technical IFRS expertise, supervision responsibilities, and process ownership within a structured SAP S/4HANA environment. Senior R2R Accountant is responsible for overseeing and optimising financial processes related to the Record to Report (R2R) function. This role ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in financial operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee month-end close activities across multiple international entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Maintain and supervise SAP S/4HANA general ledger processes Prepare and oversee journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting Policies Monitor and strengthen the internal control environment Support statutory reporting and global audit processes Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the R2R function Collaborate closely with global finance stakeholders and support junior team members where required Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA, CIMA, or similar certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or R2R processes, ideally in a corporate finance environment. Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS). SAP experience required (S/4HANA preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with financial reporting tools is a plus. Solid general ledger and financial reporting experience. Experience in an international or multi-entity environment. Strong financial control mindset. Fluent English (written and spoken). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration What We Offer Gross monthly salary from EUR 2,800 to EUR 3,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
