To strengthen our team in Brussels, we are currently looking for a driven Senior Recruitment Consultant Engineering & Supply Chain.

In this role, you will specialise in identifying, guiding and placing highly skilled professionals within the Engineering & Supply Chain sector. You will take ownership of your market, build and develop strong client and candidate relationships, and contribute to the growth of our business through your commercial approach and market expertise.

About the role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant Engineering & Supply Chain, you will join a team of recruiters and consultants in Brussels who specialise in their respective niche markets. You will manage the recruitment process from start to finish, providing an exceptional level of service to both clients and candidates.

You will take ownership of your market, build a strong client portfolio and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business. As a trusted recruitment partner, you will advise clients on their recruitment needs, provide relevant market insights and develop tailored recruitment solutions.

At the same time, you will build and maintain a strong pipeline of highly qualified candidates within your sector, while continuing to expand your professional network and market expertise.

You will also contribute to the development of the wider team by sharing your market knowledge, best practices and experience with colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of your market, develop a strong client portfolio and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business
• Act as a trusted recruitment partner by building strong relationships and developing a detailed understanding of your clients' organisations, business needs and recruitment requirements
• Advise clients on recruitment strategies, market trends and talent availability, providing tailored recruitment solutions
• Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including vacancy management, job advertising, weekly mailings, sourcing and headhunting
• Source, assess and match high-quality candidates with the right opportunities and advise clients throughout the selection process
• Build and maintain a strong network of professionals and stay up to date with market and industry developments
• Organise and conduct interviews, provide regular communication and feedback, and ensure a high level of candidate care throughout the process
• Organise and attend meetings with existing and prospective clients and identify opportunities to further develop partnerships
• Share market knowledge and best practices with colleagues and contribute to the development of more junior team members

About you

To join us as a Senior Recruitment Consultant Engineering & Supply Chain, you will have:

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in recruitment, Industrial Sales, Supply Chain or a closely related commercial environment
• A Master's degree
• A proven track record of developing client relationships, generating business and managing recruitment or sales processes independently
• Experience building and maintaining a strong professional network within a specific market or sector
• Fluent Dutch and/or French, combined with a very good level of English
• A strong commercial mindset and a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets
• The ability to take ownership of a market or client portfolio and identify opportunities for business growth
• The confidence to act as a trusted advisor to clients and provide informed insights on talent availability and market trends
• An entrepreneurial, organised and driven approach, with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• The initiative to identify opportunities, make sound decisions and recommend innovative solutions
• A willingness to share knowledge and support the development of colleagues
