POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Relationship Manager, Partner Success you will serve as the strategic relationship lead for a portfolio of innovative healthcare companies while helping strengthen HGAN's nationwide network of employer leaders.
More than a traditional account management role, you'll act as a trusted advisor—helping partners navigate market opportunities, anticipate challenges, strengthen their positioning, and build meaningful relationships that accelerate growth. You'll become deeply familiar with each partner's business while developing a strong understanding of the broader healthcare benefits landscape.
Working closely with HGAN Project Managers and cross-functional teammates, you'll ensure exceptional execution while focusing your own efforts on strategic relationship leadership, market insight, opportunity development, and executive-level partnership.
In addition, you'll serve as one of HGAN's primary collaborators in building and strengthening relationships across our advisor community. By understanding both partner priorities and advisor perspectives, you'll help create meaningful connections that deliver on advisor goals and requests.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within your first year, you will:
- Become a trusted strategic advisor to your assigned partners.
- Build lasting relationships with employer and health plan leaders across HGAN's advisor network.
- Help partners identify and pursue meaningful growth opportunities.
- Consistently deliver thoughtful guidance grounded in market knowledge and strong judgment.
- Strengthen collaboration across the HGAN team while helping others succeed.
- Contribute insights that improve how HGAN serves partners and advisors alike.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Relationship Leadership
- Serve as the primary relationship owner and trusted advisor for assigned partner organizations.
- Build executive-level relationships grounded in credibility, responsiveness, and thoughtful guidance.
- Develop partner-specific Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that align HGAN's work with each partner's strategic priorities.
- Anticipate partner needs, identify opportunities proactively, and recommend strategies before challenges arise.
- Balance day-to-day execution with long-term strategic thinking that advances partner success.
- Lead recurring tactical, strategic, and quarterly business conversations that align priorities, remove obstacles, and maintain momentum toward partner goals.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure commitments are translated into clear action plans, tracked effectively, and successfully delivered.
Partner Strategy & Market Expertise
- Develop deep knowledge of each partner's solutions, business objectives, market positioning, and competitive landscape.
- Stay current on employer priorities, healthcare market trends, and emerging innovations.
- Understand partner marketing strategies, conference activities, and business development priorities to provide tailored guidance.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis that translates into actionable recommendations.
- Help partners understand how employer and health plan perspectives should influence their strategies and product positioning.
- Bring thoughtful ideas, constructive challenge, and fresh perspectives that help partners make stronger strategic decisions.
Growth & Opportunity Development
- Help partners identify, prioritize, and successfully navigate high-value growth opportunities.
- Leverage HGAN's network to facilitate meaningful introductions and strategic connections.
- Build relationships that create long-term value for both partners and advisors.
- Maintain a strong understanding of partner pipelines and proactively identify opportunities to accelerate progress.
- Collaborate internally to ensure promising opportunities are shared across portfolios when appropriate as part of The HGAN System (THS).
Advisor Relationship Leadership
- Build authentic, long-term relationships with employer leaders across HGAN's advisor community.
- Understand advisor priorities, challenges, and strategic objectives while identifying opportunities where HGAN partners can create meaningful value.
- Ensure advisor feedback is captured, synthesized, and translated into actionable insights that strengthen partner strategies and product positioning.
- Support the design and delivery of advisor events and community programming that foster collaboration, learning, and meaningful professional connections.
- Expand and strengthen HGAN's advisor network by identifying and cultivating relationships with influential leaders who complement existing expertise.
Team Collaboration
- Actively contribute to strategy discussions, sharing market insights, relationship intelligence, and lessons learned.
- Follow through on commitments to teammates to ensure seamless partner and advisor experiences and exceptional execution.
- Support the development and improvement of resources, tools, and best practices that strengthen partner and advisor success.
- Share knowledge generously, be present and engaged, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, and teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS
Industry Experience
- Proven success in relationship management, client success, healthcare consulting, employer benefits, business development, account management, or a related field.
- Experience working with innovative healthcare solutions, employer-sponsored benefits, health plans, or adjacent healthcare markets.
- Strong understanding of healthcare sales cycles, enterprise relationships, and strategic partnership development.

- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish credibility with senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional responsiveness and follow-through.

SALARY RANGE, BENEFITS, AND OTHER ELEMENTS
Salary range: $150,000–$165,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
