Senior Remote Service Engineer

In this role, your mission is to ensure that our customers’ charging infrastructure runs flawlessly delivering a seamless and reliable experience for EV drivers around the world.

What you will do:

• Be the trusted technical expert that our customers and service engineers can rely on to solve complex technical issues
• Become the go-to contact for deep technical knowledge in your area of expertise : Eg OCPP/ Split systems /Metering.
• Resolve complex and critical issues, keeping our network running smoothly.
• Assist local service organizations primarily in EMEA and occasionally globally to resolve their tickets.
• Coach and mentor our (junior) technical staff in achieving customer success through their remote case resolutions.
• Ensure that tickets are resolved within the scope of the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Assist local teams and suppliers with charger installation and commissioning.
• Improve processes within the team, local countries, quality, and production departments.
• Pro-actively lead the way in improving chargers and services.
• Initiate process improvements within and across teams, local countries, quality, and production departments.
• Coach the team in creation and maintenance of knowledge articles and documentation that support service teams and customers.
• Take action to resolve remaining problems on-site when necessary.
• Participate in the weekend support rotation, acting as the senior escalation point for critical and complex cases to ensure 24/7 coverage for our customers.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent technical education in: Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or equivalent technical field relevant for the EV industry
• 3-4 years of experience as a (Senior) service Engineer or in a similar technical support/maintenance role
• Proven track record of technical expertise in the EV industry; Knowledge management, process improvements in CRM
• Proven expertise in electrical installations; maintenance and system design.
• Experience working with Linux-based systems and software
• Proven track record of delivering through others: effective collaboration across organisational and geographical boundaries
• Excellent communication & documentation skills (in English, other European language is a plus); demonstrable customer service mindset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (<10%)
• Willingness to work weekend shifts on a rotational basis (planned on a monthly basis).
