Description
SENIOR SPECIALIST
Ready to take your career to the next level?
Skai is looking for the best and the brightest to join our family. We're proud of our industry-leading digital marketing software but we're even prouder of the people behind it. That's where you come in!
The Expert Services Senior Specialist is a skilled retail media practitioner who owns the day-to-day execution and performance of an assigned set of client accounts on the Skai Retail Media management platform. You are hands-on with the campaigns and accountable for how they perform, and you are building a consultative voice: you do not only report what happened, you work out why and tell the client what to do next.
Working with an Expert Services Manager and the Expert Services Director, you will serve external clients, support account strategy, and help the team raise its standard of delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day execution, optimisation and performance of assigned retail media accounts, from hands-on builds and budget pacing to bid and structure management
- Investigate performance changes and opportunities, find the root cause, and advise clients on media planning and best practice across Amazon, Walmart and other networks
- Prepare performance updates and contribute to QBRs and strategic reviews
- Build custom analyses, reports and automations, including with generative AI tools, where the standard tools and templates fall short
- Coach Specialists, contribute to team playbooks, and partner with product, sales, technical account management and client services to surface client needs and market opportunities
Position Requirements
We care more about what you have done than how long you have been doing it, so the requirements below are written as evidence rather than years. Expect to speak to them concretely.
What we need from you
- Hands-on retail media management. You have built, run and optimised paid ecommerce campaigns, including Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, and can describe what you changed and what happened as a result.
- Analytical thinking. Root-cause analysis rather than surface reporting, and the judgement to tie metrics back to the client's business objectives rather than optimising to a single number.
- Data fluency. Confident with large datasets in Excel or similar tools.
- Client-facing communication. You explain a result and a recommendation clearly, in writing and verbally.
- Ownership and follow-through. You take problems to resolution and flag risks early.
- Curiosity about AI and automation. You use generative AI tools such as Claude to work faster and better.
Strongly preferred
- Walmart Connect and DSP exposure, such as Amazon DSP or Walmart DSP
- AMC, including running and interpreting queries
- Other networks: Instacart, Target and Roundel Media Studio, Criteo, CitrusAd, Epsilon, Kroger Precision Marketing
- Agency-side background, and experience with Skai or a comparable platform
- Collaborating with a global team, both locally and virtually
Location and travel
- US-based
- Occasional travel as needed
We are hybrid for the long term - with a great home/ office work mix (three days in office per week), passionate and diverse team members, and a vibrant company culture.
The salary range for this position is $90,000-100,000. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicants experience, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and market data. This position is eligible for additional bonus compensation, full details will be provided during the recruitment process.
