Senior Retouching & Technical Lead

About Pixofix Pixofix is a global image production partner supporting leading fashion and e-commerce brands with high-volume, enterprise-grade retouching solutions. We are looking for a Technical Lead – Retouching to drive technical excellence, maintain quality standards, and support the continuous development of our retouching team in our offices in Dhaka. This role is responsible for defining retouching standards, mentoring the team, resolving complex production challenges, and ensuring consistent quality across all client work. The Technical Lead supports production through expertise rather than day-to-day operational management. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Define and maintain Pixofix's retouching standards and best practices. Review complex or high-priority projects requiring advanced technical expertise. Provide guidance on challenging retouching techniques and creative problem-solving. Support the adoption of new tools, workflows, and AI-assisted production techniques. Attend client calls in order to get a clear brief and have a better understanding of the project and the client where needed. Quality Excellence Partner with the QC team to ensure consistent quality standards across all client work. Identify recurring quality trends and implement corrective actions. Develop technical guidelines and client-specific quality documentation. Team Development Mentor Senior Editors, Editors, and QC Specialists. Support onboarding and technical training. Identify skill gaps and recommend development plans. Promote knowledge sharing across the department. Process Improvement Improve retouching workflows and production efficiency. Create and maintain SOPs, templates, actions, and technical documentation. Recommend workflow improvements and automation opportunities. Cross-functional Collaboration Support Production with technical advice on complex projects. Provide technical input during new client onboarding and calibration projects. Collaborate with Support / Client Operations when technical clarification is required. What This Role Is Not Not a Project Manager Not a Production Manager Not responsible for daily workload allocation Not responsible for routine client communication Not responsible for scheduling or capacity planning Not the final approver of every production batch Required Experience 5+ years of professional fashion or e-commerce retouching experience. 2+ years of experience in managing a retouching team or department. Expert-level Adobe Photoshop skills. Strong understanding of colour management and production workflows. Strong understanding of fabrics and textures. Experience working within high-volume production environments. Excellent mentoring and coaching skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Preferred Previous experience as a Senior Retoucher or Technical Lead. Experience developing SOPs and quality standards. Exposure to AI-assisted retouching workflows. Experience implementing production improvements or automation initiatives.
