Reward strategy across multiple jurisdictions, a US 401k scheme to launch, and a seat in HR leadership. Not a bad 12 months.

A top international law firm is looking for a Senior Reward and Benefits Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract, covering a period of parental leave.

You will own the firm's reward and benefits strategy across all of its operating regions, reporting to the Director of HR and leading a two-person team. You will be the go-to expert, advising senior stakeholders across both business services and fee earning divisions.

What you will be doing:

  • Shaping reward and benefits strategy internationally
  • Running the end-to-end salary review and bonus cycle
  • Designing and testing pay for performance and incentive plans
  • Overseeing grading and salary survey job matching using WTW GGS
  • Managing benefits broker relationships and the renewal process
  • Leading on the early establishment of the firm's US 401k scheme
  • Sitting on the UK Pension Governance Committee
  • Keeping the firm compliant, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive and UK Gender Pay Gap reporting
  • Leading the annual HR budgeting process

What you will bring:

  • Substantial reward and benefits experience, ideally from a legal or professional services firm
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • International reward experience and an understanding of how approaches adapt across jurisdictions
  • Expert knowledge of grading and survey matching methodologies, ideally WTW GGS
  • UK Gender Pay Gap reporting experience
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders with insight-led recommendations
  • High Excel proficiency
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent) is desirable

The firm is known for building deep, trusted relationships with empathy and clarity, no jargon and no attitude. Hybrid working is part of the culture, around 60% in the office and 40% remote.
