Our client is the group risk management of an international bank in Geneva. We are searching for an experienced risk process specialist (m, f, d) as Senior Risk Manager / Internal & External Process Risk Bank As part of the group’s risk management function, responsible, on the one hand, for identifying and analysing third-party risks relating to existing or new services and technologies provided by suppliers and, on the other hand, for reviewing the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and driving its processes / Leading third-party due diligence and onboarding processes for new suppliers / Ensuring that the Procurement’s third-party portfolio is properly assessed, evaluated and managed in order to minimise risk and its impact / Monitor periodic reviews and ongoing supplier compliance as well as support supplier offboarding and lifecycle management / Leading the RCSA process for the systematic management of operational vulnerabilities / Reviewing of the business processes to be assessed and their definition, in order to ensure targeted and actionable evaluations / Identifying inherent risks in order to pinpoint potential events or vulnerabilities that could jeopardise business objectives before considering risk mitigation measures / Ongoing review and assessment of internal control processes in order to evaluate existing preventive control measures, their design and their operational effectiveness / Determination of the residual risk by assessing the remaining level of risk, taking into account the effectiveness of the control measures, including its presentation using a probability-impact matrix / Developing action plans for third-party risks and RCSA and draw up specific remediation plans / Continuous monitoring of risk trends using key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards to respond to emerging threats before losses occur / Developing measures to improve the programme for managing risks posed by third parties, including updates to policies and procedures / Careful management of data and documentation. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Engineering / CPA or CIA as an advantage / Strong professional experience at a Big Four or a consultancy firm, working on large projects for international banks / Professional experience as a senior internal group auditor or as a senior manager specialising in operational risks or business continuity / Knowledge of internal and external risk processes, including the implementation of risk processes and regulatory frameworks / Experience in operational resilience, internal controls, BCM, etc. / Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including FINMA and EU regulations / Analytical mindset with the ability to work independently based on facts / Team-oriented approach with good communication and influencing skills / Interested in analysing processes, data sets and control environments in detail / Strong organisational and prioritisation skills / IT aptitude and knowledge of banking software / MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint / Residence in Switzerland.
