  • Developing and delivering risk assurance and controls testing programs, including assessing control effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Preparing and presenting risk reporting, insights and recommendations to senior management, governance committees and the Board
  • Supporting a strong risk culture including delivery of company-wide risk awareness training and promoting ownership of risk across the business, coordinating initiatives with Hannover Office functions and leading and coordinating input into regulatory engagements, reviews and information requests

You come equipped with

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in risk, compliance, audit or insurance within a regulated financial services environment
  • A strong understanding of APRA prudential standards, risk management frameworks and regulatory reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessments, controls testing and risk reporting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills
  • Advanced Excel capability
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation

You will stand out if you are:

  • Process-oriented – you take a structured approach to risk management, controls testing, governance and regulatory requirements, while seeking practical ways to strengthen risk frameworks, controls and operational resilience.
  • Trusted and grounded – you build credibility by providing practical, consistent and objective risk advice, considering different perspectives and supporting informed decision-making with discretion and integrity.
  • Mature and balanced – able to exercise sound judgement and handle sensitive matters
  • People-centric – approachable, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships across all levels
  • Self-driven – you manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision
