In this role, you will:
Play a key role in helping embed a positive and proactive safety culture across Transport for NSW. Working closely with leaders, project teams, and a diverse range of stakeholders, you'll support the delivery of enterprise-wide safety culture initiatives, safety leadership programs, and improvement activities that strengthen safety outcomes across the organisation.
You'll contribute to the successful implementation of multiple programs by coordinating activities, supporting project delivery, monitoring progress, preparing reports and insights, and identifying opportunities to enhance effectiveness. This role reports into a Senior Manager within Safety Culture & Strategy.

About You:
For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:
- 5+ years experience in a Safety Officer, Safety Partner, or equivalent role, partnering with leaders and stakeholders to drive positive safety outcomes
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, or a related discipline
- You build trust and credibility through effective communication, sound judgement, and an empathetic/diplomatic approach.
- Able to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail, you successfully manage competing priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments. You are a confident safety practitioner who influences without direct authority
Nice to Haves:
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Project (MS Project) to develop, maintain, and report on project schedules, milestones, and dependencies
This is a permanent opportunity with a hybrid working arrangement. You'll typically work from our Macquarie Park office two days per week, including Thursdays, which is our dedicated team collaboration day.
This is a Grade 7 role, paying between $124,810.00 - $139,787.00 + super. The grade level will be assessed based on your relevant skills, experiences, capabilities, and qualifications etc.
