A Day in the Life
At Medtronic, we are pioneering the next generation of healthcare technology. As part of our Robotic Surgery team, you will play a key role in bringing innovative surgical solutions to healthcare professionals and hospitals, helping improve patient outcomes while shaping the future of minimally invasive surgery.We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to drive commercial growth, develop strategic partnerships, and support the adoption of our robotic-assisted surgery portfolio.
For this role, you will be based in Prague, Czech Republic, with 60% expected travel time across the country. You will work closely with surgeons, clinical teams, hospital stakeholders, and internal commercial partners to drive the successful deployment, training, and utilization of robotic surgical solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving the adoption of Medtronic's robotic surgery portfolio within an assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, operating room teams, hospital management, and key decision-makers
- Identify new business opportunities, assess customer needs, and deliver solutions that create clinical and economic value
- Support customers throughout the entire journey, from initial engagement and product demonstrations to implementation and adoption
- Organize and deliver product presentations, clinical workshops, and educational events to healthcare professionals
- Collaborate closely with clinical, technical, and marketing teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience and successful market development
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback while maintaining accurate CRM pipeline management, forecasting, and sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, or a related field
- Proven experience in medical device, capital equipment, healthcare technology, or other consultative sales environments
- Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management, negotiation, and territory management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals, surgeons, and hospital leaders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, combined with a results-driven mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding business objectives
- Highly accountable, self-motivated, and proactive, with strong planning and organizational skills and an entrepreneurial approach to identifying growth opportunities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, with willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and fluency in English and the local language.

The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and qualifications, in accordance with our compensation framework.
