Job Requisition ID # 26WD100412 Position Overview Rhumbix (an Autodesk company) is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Specialist to serve as a construction industry and solution expert supporting the growth of Rhumbix. This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong understanding of construction operations and field workflows with strategic thinking, customer engagement, and the ability to translate complex business challenges into compelling solution stories. As a Senior Sales Specialist, you will partner closely with Account Executives and other Autodesk customer-facing teams to advance strategic sales opportunities. Rather than serving primarily as a traditional quota-carrying salesperson, you will bring industry, workflow, and solution expertise to customer engagements—helping teams conduct effective discovery, connect customer challenges to business outcomes, demonstrate the value of Rhumbix, and build a compelling case for change. You will engage stakeholders ranging from field and project teams to construction executives, helping customers understand how Rhumbix can improve labor productivity, field data collection, timekeeping, project controls, and operational visibility. Responsibilities Partner with Account Executives and other Autodesk sales resources to support and advance Rhumbix opportunities throughout the sales cycle Serve as a subject matter expert on Rhumbix solutions, construction field operations, and the business challenges Rhumbix addresses Lead and support discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, operational challenges, business priorities, technology environments, and desired outcomes Translate customer pain points and operational challenges into clear solution strategies and measurable business outcomes Develop compelling customer narratives that connect construction challenges, Rhumbix capabilities, and the business value of change Support strategic account planning, opportunity development, technical evaluations, executive presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proposal efforts Provide industry perspective, solution expertise, and competitive positioning to help sales teams differentiate Rhumbix and Autodesk Identify opportunities to expand the value of Rhumbix within existing Autodesk customer relationships Serve as a knowledgeable resource on construction field operations and workflows, including labor productivity, timekeeping, field data collection, project controls, cost management, and related operational processes Understand the needs and perspectives of general contractors, specialty contractors, project teams, field leadership, operations leaders, and construction executives Help customers evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for workflow improvement, standardization, and digital transformation Connect technology investments to measurable outcomes such as improved productivity, better cost visibility, reduced administrative effort, increased data accuracy, and improved project performance Maintain awareness of construction industry trends, customer priorities, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies affecting field operations Build credibility and trusted relationships with stakeholders ranging from field and project personnel to operations leaders and senior executives Communicate complex workflows and technology concepts in clear, relevant, and compelling business terms Develop and deliver solution demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer priorities rather than relying on standard product demonstrations Use customer insights, industry knowledge, data, and business outcomes to create compelling stories that articulate both the need for change and the value of the proposed solution Facilitate conversations with technical and non-technical audiences and adapt messaging appropriately for different stakeholders Collaborate with Account Executives, Technical Specialists, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and other Autodesk teams to support customer opportunities and successful solution adoption Act as a technical and industry partner to sales teams, providing expertise that complements the Account Executive's ownership of the commercial relationship and sales process Share customer insights, industry trends, competitive intelligence, and workflow requirements with Product and Marketing teams Contribute to sales enablement through training, coaching, reusable demonstrations, customer stories, playbooks, and best practices Help develop scalable and repeatable approaches for positioning and selling Rhumbix across Autodesk's construction customer base Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of relevant professional experience in construction, construction technology, solution consulting, technical pre-sales, or a related field, including significant experience working with construction customers and workflows Strong understanding of commercial construction operations and field workflows, ideally including labor management, timekeeping, field data capture, productivity, project controls, cost management, or related disciplines Experience working with or supporting general contractors, specialty contractors, or other construction industry organizations Demonstrated ability to conduct customer discovery, understand business and operational challenges, and translate those challenges into solution strategies and measurable business outcomes Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect individual workflow challenges to broader customer business priorities Strong storytelling, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, including the ability to engage both technical audiences and construction executives Experience partnering with sales teams in a solution consulting, technical sales, industry specialist, or similar capacity Ability to manage multiple complex customer engagements and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Experience with CRM and sales-management platforms such as Salesforce Preferred Qualifications Direct construction industry experience with a general contractor, specialty contractor, or construction management organization Experience with construction labor management, field productivity, timekeeping, project controls, cost management, or field data workflows Experience with Rhumbix or comparable construction technology platforms Experience supporting SaaS sales, technology adoption, or construction digital transformation initiatives Experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations, business cases, workshops, or customer-facing thought leadership Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and the broader Autodesk construction
